That's fun, I guess lol. How would that work with a mechanical tuning advance, though? Would the ICU nullify the advance when it's not in default mode?

going stock gauges 89s, 2006 headlight, 2007 farings thats why Im going to a 2007 frame, 2006 complete wiring harness, 89 carbs and complete motor, 2006 seat and rear plastics. my carbs are pretty well dialed in so i dont really want to mess with trying to do another set.

even with the full exhaust and lunchbox? so i would only need to put in tge mid jet. are the slids the same because i had to drill holes and cap them in my carbs. one of the reasons for the carb up grade is to run the newer handle bar controls. just thinking that it might be not worth all hassle.

No, you could do main and pilot and washers under needle - on both older and newer carbs.
The mid swap isn't neccesary ... or you could swap it too and - I dunno man, carb swap is a lot more work than one extra jet.

Either way, the mids are $8 in my pack, the kit wihtout mids is $25 regardless of year (I send you the right jets for your year just tha tthey cost $25 ...) So 25 or 33.
Cool.
