Will 2004 Front Forks Fit in a 1991 GS500?

I bent my front forks so I'm looking for a direct replacement (the only damage were the forks- nothing else.  I don't plan to change anything but the forks and I was curious if the forks from a 2009 GS500 will fit my 1991 GS500?
