My son and I bought this bike a year ago in April as his first street bike. We refurbed the whole bike. Then he rode it for 2200 trouble free miles, enjoying it tremendously. This spring we found a Ducati and did the same type resto on it, so this bike sadly must go, no room.

This bike has ALL the goodies and upgrades.
Here is the list:
New tires. Bridgestone.
New chain.
New stainless water jet cut chain guard. (Says GS500)
New battery this spring, not last.
New plugs.
Timing advancer, rare but found one.
New fuel tank pick up and fuel valve. New fuel lines.
Carbs completely cleaned, rebuilt, floats set, and stage 1 jet kit. Starts great. Runs great.
K&N lunch box air filter, have stock air box.
Slip on muffler sounds really good.
New rider and passenger pegs.
New brake pads.
New progressive front suspension spring kit. Eliminates any brake dive.
New fork seals and dust caps.
Yamaha R6 rear shock. This is a much recommended rear suspension upgrade from stock.
New oil and filter.

So this is a great first street bike for any rider. You won't need to do a thing but ride the heck out of it for years. It is light and responsive. Great road manners. Handles super. It's a 6 speed so it cruises at 70 on the highway all day, but has the lowend power to take off quick and handle a passenger.
