Speaking of silly stunts:

Who else finds riding side-saddle on the GS to be bizarrely comfortable on long, slow stretches?

Something tells me that wouldn't require a great deal of effort.   :P

i like stunting, but didn't try to stunt yet...i will soon but not without a helmet....it's his choice but i just don't get the point of stunting/riding without a helmet  :dunno:

its simple as takin a que from my dog blew. the wind in your hair, the cool air on your face. its a feeling of freedom, not safe. but its nice once in a while.

I pull a wheelie once in awhile. i've tried a stoppie but my front brake is shot. its not bad its just showing off. if i had a 350 w/ posi i'd be smokin'  rubber at every red.  ;) just stunting on 4 wheels.

all i can say is...stunting is fun and cool...if it's not done on the streets or anywhere with traffic...

Normally, I would agree...but it's not that simple.  F!cktards like that usually end up falling off, and hurting themselves real bad.  Again, I don't really give a sh!t, but then my insurance rates go through the roof.

I really couldn't care less if anyone rides like some Top Gun wannabe motherf!cker, but if he's part of the reason why I have to pay more money for insurance, then I reserve the right to flame.

Either people should stop doing stupid sh!t on motorcycles (not likely), cancel their insurance before doing stupid sh!t on motorcycles (even less likely), or insurance companies should write a stupidity clause into their policies (when hell freezes over).  It's a classic catch 22.  I can't make the situation any better, so I'm going to flame :nana:.

EXACTLY... Not only raising insurance, but spawning "interest" groups and lawmakers that thnk they know what's best.  You know, the same one's that make me wear a helmet on MY bike and a seat belt in MY car.

It's not nearly as simple as "Who the f%$k cares? Its his choice, worry about yourselves" cause it affects EVERYBODY.  That's not the way it should be, but that's the way it is.

release the flack...

i have done the same thing for a few girls walking down the street only i was wearing shoes shorts and a t-shirt  :nana: bif f-inng deal
and that was when i had been riding for maybe 4 months.  i have crashed since then and always wear most of my gear now

for those of you who do want to do this be smart start small and work your way up
start with one foot on your tank and one on your passenger seat so you have some stability. and don't touch the handlebars on your way up and especially on your way down you don't want to upset your bike with a sudden turn of the bars or throttle.  and one other thing don't drop down to your pegs really fast either.  i did once and landed on my brake and gear shift levers.  scared the shat out of me (that happened when i posted about being "almost over the bars")

there is a bunch of shat that can happen with this one so be careful:thumb:

Just to clarify...I wasn't calling him an idiot because of the stunt...it was the lack of a helmet that earns him that distinction.  :)
