What are some must-do upgrades for a stock GS500f?

And I could tell exactly what the bike was doing too. To the point I could have told you it was lean or rich at xxxx rpm because I could hear it.

I cannot believe anyone has said milk in the handlebars. What the frig is up with all yous? Everyone knows THAT is the numero uno MUST DO UPGRADE for the GS500. None of the crap powdered milk though, for best results it needs to be full cream permeat free. Anything else won't cut the mustard.

Talking of loud pipes.... maybe this might work for you as well... it's something I made up a little while ago to help new riders 



Maybe this motorcycle cop should of had loud pipes - cause obviously being brightly dressed with flashing light and siren wasn't enough to stop him getting smashed into in broad daylight with unhindered line of sight...
