I recently got my side fairings repainted. I guess the finish isn't as tough as factory and behind the wheel is already starting to show wear. Does anything exist to protect the area where the side fairings meet behind the front wheel?

And I'm not really sure if any fender extender will be long enough to do any good? Maybe some clear protective film?

Thanks! I just didn't know what the part was called to search for it, now I do. Seems pretty obvious now lol
