My stock shock on my GS500 leaked a little oil a couple days ago. Now, I have lost some dampening.
Anyone have a good used shock?
Maybe something that works a little better than the stock shock did before it leaked?
thanks,

Depending on your body weight when geared up ... You have a couple options .. R6 shock for the middleweight area ... Kat shock for the plus sized riders like me  ;) ... Roughly .. Above 250 lbs -ish go for Katana shock .. Below 250 probably R6 IIRC ..

Kat shock is a straight bolt in with no mods ... R6 you will probably have to shorten the clevis ..

See here for more info .. http://wiki.gstwins.com/index.php?n=Upgrades.RearShock

The R6 shock is a direct bolt up with no mods, but you will need the larger bolt and spacer from the R6 linkages. The Kat shock will raise the seat a bit, but is stiffer than the R6, and can use existing hardware. The SV shock will also fit, and will raise the seat height quite a bit, but you can shorten the clevis and drill a new mounting hole to shorten it up a bit. The wiki link that Janx posted should have most of the information you will need to do a swap, if you're looking to upgrade.

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Yeah, I used that video when I put my shock on. I didn't realize it was Slips at first. I just thought it was some random dude with a funny accent.
