i know at one time Kerry had a valve shim kit floating around to the different GStwins members, IF i recall, it was, the person pays postage from previous user, use a shim, leave a shim, the kit had used shims, feeler gauges of correct sizes for intake and exhaust, and a shim bucket tool. it was setup as a community kinda thing.   Kerry, chime in if im wrong     hell, i think there was 2 kits roaming around for a little while

Oh that thing crashed and burned - in fact there were 2 one east and one west coast - it crashed and burned when one of the kits went to some Idiot who got arrested for paintballing someone else's house with the kit in his possession.

Cool.

that sucks, i remember it worked well for some time.   who knows, perhaps we can start another one.... the shims are cheap, the tool is cheap and feeler gauges are cheap.  hmmmmm   i shall ponder this till payday.  i might even have a few shims extra to start the ball rolling.
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.

I remember the East/West kits also. They used to be a sticky I think.  Those kits helped alot of people, but the potential for getting lots of people pissed if one person f's up is high.

The GS resources site doesn't have a kit, but they have a "shim exchange".  You can send in your shims and they'll send you different sizes.  One cool thing is that they have a lot of off sizes instead of just +/-.05mm.
