Can a malaligned wheel /loose chain cause chain clicking?

Can a malaligned wheel /loose chain cause chain clicking? And the chain is also missing some o-rings  . Thanks in adv to all the GI GS Joes

It cant ... cos WTH is "chain clicking" I wanna say there aint such a thing ...

My bad  . Its a weird sound from chain somewhat like... "tak tak" , (pardon my French). I know my chain might be screwed as saw some missing o rings  . Does missing o rings mean a new chain??. Willpost some pics tomorrow of the chain and front tyre too, need an opinion on it as well.

TBH if missing o-rings, id go ahead and replace it.

Tak tak - maybe its hitting something - or has it got a few tight and loose spots ...

And these stupid things are always losing their O rings.

Stuffed chain and/or sprockets will cause a clicking sound as the chain 'rides up' the teeth and clicks back down again.

A worn front sprocket will cause a clicking noise when coasting at low speeds as chain clicks off the hooked sprocket teeth.

I had some clicking when my chain was too tight, remember to check tension with the bike off the centre stand as it tightens up noticibly between centre stand and weight on the wheels.

I would also replace it if o rings were missing.

Had the same thing when the local bike shop fitted my new tyre, noticed a new noise as I was leaving their driveway and turned right around. Once they loosened it it was fine again.
