Where should I order valve shims from?

Hello, I need to order a few shims and I can't find anything on where to order them. I can't find places that sell them individually by their size. Also both intake valves have less clearance than 0.02mm(the smallest feeler I have) should I just keep ordering shims that are 0.05 less until it is the right size?

Thank you

Oh forgot to mention im from Tucson, AZ USA. There are actually a couple small motorcycle shops nearby. I didn't realize that these may be common among suzuki's, but since they appear to be then maybe they'll have some. If anyone knows of any good online stores that have them and are in the U.S. I would appreciate that as well.

Thanks.

P.S. if anyone needs 2.65mm shims(unverified thickness as I do not have a caliper, but thats what it says on them) then let me know as I have 4 that I do not need.

You can post what sizes you need if you like? Someone on here might have them

Part of that issue is I'm only sure on 1, maybe two of the sizes so I may need to order and then reorder etc. I'll give it a shot though, thank you.

Bought my shims locally but have bought other stuff from them.

Since i'm going to keep my bike till the end of the universe  :icon_rolleyes:  i opted for the convenience of a kit.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/K-L-Valve-Shim-Starter-Kit-29-5mm-2-30-3-00-Suzuki-/390671001957?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5af5ce6965

Does that kit fit all Suzuki's or just the GS500?
Any Suzi (or for that matter any bike) that requires 29.5mm shims.

ohgood

i started stoning mine down to size. if they're too wobbly the valves and head prolly have 100,000 miles on em and ready for replacement anyway.

Hmm I wish I had read this before I bought 2 today for $10 each. I'll have to check and see if they'll do the same. Thank you.
