Weird question - seam around tank/frame

Hey, strange question probably, but given everyone here has done loads to their GS, wondering if anyone's ever put rubber packing around the seam where the tank butts against the frame. This is probably the only look (apart from rear fender, which will be going soon), I'm not keen on. Would love to hear if anyone's found a way to make the tank butt against the frame more seamlessly.

Will take a pic of what I mean if above doesn't make sense

Cheers

Sasha, you can get U-section rubber beading (in OZ try Clarke Rubber), that you can trim that tank seam with. My '97 tank has it's beading already fitted -'s bit like the beading used around car door openings.
