Resurrecting from the grave.

Had other project to tend to and now back on the GS. 

Ok I can get the bike running but won't run worth balls.  I have to always have the choke on.  So obviously the carbs are not tuned just right.  I have a Factory Pro jet kit laying around but I figure the stock should just fine.  So Imagine you have no idea how your carb is tuned.  Where do you start and how to you go step by step adjusting.  I am assuming the air/fuel mix is way off on the bike.  Exhaust is way hot out the muffler.  Which says very very lean.   

Just looking for direction.  would like to get this thing fired and running properly.
