Not sure what is going on here..
Oil level is good, Possible clinking sound coming from somewhere at random.
doesn't get worse at higher RPM.
Any help would be appreciated.

Almost certainly you did not get the gasket aligned correctly. It is losing oil pressure internally. Do not run it further until you have removed and inspected the gasket again. I have heard that some of the aftermarket gaskets are not correctly made and can cause problems.

The clutch gasket ... OK you sure you screwed the sensor back in right, and have it connected into the harness ... and the wire is connected on to the sensor ?

I dont think the GS has oil flow through the gasket like some bikes do - example savage 650. If it was a bad gasket without the oil passage cut in it, the oil pressure will read fine, but the top 1/2 wont get any oil - but that is on the savage. Nothing like that on the GS I believe.

BTW you have oil in the bike ? Enough oil ?

Cool.

First I'd check to make sure you didn't ground the oil pressure light to the frame. Easy mistake to make.

Agree here. Easy mistake to make connecting that green wire with the spade lug to the wrong place. Goes on the oil sensor bolt, not a bolt to the frame. It is not a ground wire.
Picture?

I'm not even sure I know where the oil pressure sensor even was..
I could have messed it up I suppose, I know it has enough oil in it.
