The back pressure from the headers is plenty.
To eliminate that you need to have a drain pipe going straight out ... but then if you're moving ... it will "ram air" into the exhaust.

I'm not sure about bikes but in cars and trucks it's simple. I have personally opened up the air flow and all but gutted the exhaust in a few vehicles and found I had better and faster take off. I like that personally since in reality in NC there's very few places you can go real fast without getting a ticket.

sorry we jacked your thread Naemion ... but your original post for this thread was about muffler cans!! ... i cant see anything about Cowls/bodywork etc?? ...

but i wont 'go play' in your new thread unless i have info on cowls for ya!  :thumb:

Ahaha my bad. That was a different thread I had started looking for a muffler and fairings. My bad, no one jacked anything!
