Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving. Eat plenty of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli casserole, & green beans. Hot rolls, cranberries, hot apple cider, yams, mac-n-cheese. And, don't forget pumpkin pie and Macy's day parade. Make sure you take you plate to the most comfortable chair so when the tryptophan kicks in you can pass out while watching football. After that enjoy leftovers for the next week.

Nobody said you can't have a Thanksgiving day. It a day to remember everything you have to be thankful for. Friends and family get together once a year and have a feast and a few brews . You should start it as a tradition over there. No need for pilgrims and Indians....or even turkey.

I can only imagine the chaos.... The 'fun police' of society already whinge and Buddha Loves You about Halloween (which was originally British/pagan) and Valentines day..... If Thanksgiving was actively promoted??? ... My goodness!! .. There would be rivers of righteous outrage mouth foam running down the streets!!! .... Such a wailing and gnashing of teeth that it would sound like a WWII air raid/bombing!! ... People flagellating themselves with nettle bushes to purify themselves!! 

I still hear comments... 'But they have thanksgiving BEFORE Xmas!?.... Isn't that all meant to be AT Xmas?? ... Any excuse for a party!" ... Which is a version of 'word on the street' perception at times...

I've just always been envious of the pumpkin pie and extra turkey!! Lol ... Ah well ...  When I'm on the cruise ship next month.... I'll have my own little 'Thanksgiving' ... Every arvo at the buffet!!

I did. Went to the werase table @ Grove park inn. Yum ... and food coma ...

went to walmart. got paid to run the black Friday gauntlet. soon to be ex boss, paid for a ps4 and xnox 1 or whatever its called. and a mini ipad. so I stood in line in that clusterfluck. did it so I could get a coat lol.  figured out how to get people to move when packed in by ppl, tell them they best move or get farted or pissed upon. it works. picked up 3  game system arm bands. sold one for 200. didn't get to keep the cash though. I owed boss money so I gave to him. ( and arm band didn't cost me anything lol. ill be damned if I do that again. dealing with leg wound infection so standing still for 4+ hours was agony. but worth it for the money to be honest.  got to see what chaos was like in person.  may be out of a jopb soon though. boss sold store. new ppl idk about them to be honest.  thanksgiving was nice as it was. but rest of day was mediocre. I do enjoy cooking though. with proper cutlery.
