Hey guys my h3 headlight globe keeps blowing! first
Time this happend I was giving it a gut full on a long open
Road at night then all of a sudden it got dark real quick I lost
Low and high beam..
Second time I didn't notice low beam had gone till the sun went
Down and I realised I only had high beam till that shat itself shortly after.

Now I believe there is a problem with my regulator another symptom
Being my indicators change speed and do all kinds of crazy stuff.

Thoughts?

If the indicator flash rate increases/decreases and the headlamp pulsates and dims and brightens with engine speed then yeah......generally its a sure sign the reg` is toast and letting to much voltage into the system. Find an orange cable somewhere on the bike and put a voltmeter between it and ground.....anymore than about 14.5v indicates a problem.........but before anything check the battery terminals are good and the fluid levels are ok.

Over voltage will blow head lights. Anything above 15v at the battery will cause headlights to start blowing.
Check voltage at the battery. If it goes over 15v when revving the engine, the regulator needs replacing.
Normal voltage when running should be 14v to about 14.6v at the battery.
Rather than get a new OEM one, go for the newer MosFet ones. About the same price but more reliable.
Otherwise go for a tested OK used one.
