center stand installation-- chain touching stand??

I've installed the centerstand properly but the chain is touching the stand-- maybe this is why it was removed in the first place.

What do I do about this?

Are you possibly missing that little rubber stopper that sits on the muffler?

nope, i've got all the pieces for the assembly.

Show a picture of the bumper on the muffler, looking from underneath from the left and right side.
I suspect it is bent.
What kind of muffler? Stock or aftermarket?

I can't see the under side to see if the rubber bumper on the exhaust is correct.
I see the springs are not on the center stand.
Is the chain tightened correctly?
