Will Z bar (handlebars) and riser fit the 2005 Gs500F?

Two things you have to consider:

1. Fitting inside the fairing - not hitting or scraping the fairing
2. Tank slap: The tank is wide. Hard left or right turn and some bars will slap the tank. (The reason one OEM clip-on works on the 2001+ models: only the European type-1 will work. The 1989 style slaps the tank.)

This is a good reason to research this. cause most times a test fit isn't possible. and many places wont allow returns. ( although some do) tank slap  test = lock to lock turn. course you know this. same with fairing clearance. sometimes you can modify a fairing to clear a bar but nearly impossible to mod a tank lol. OP spend some time reasearching this. before pulling the trigger.

I think I will go with the Clip on 37mm 7/8' bars
