I live in Florida. It rains here a lot so i was planning on getting some waterproof boots than the more I looked into it I realized that means that I'm sacrificing cool feet to have dry from the rain feet. Seeing as how in florida cold weather only exists for about 2 maybe 3 months I'm afraid if I do that I may die during the rest of the year. I started wondering if maybe I should just go with a pair of riding boots that will allow air flow and say screw it to the rain. Is there a boot out there that is a compromise for florida riders or am I just gonna have to pick one or the other?

Well they aren't very "cool" but they do make rain booties.  All of the rain suit companies have a set.  They pull off and fold up for easy storage.  Might be the answer to your situation.

I had this debate with myself last year about this time... I decided that I don't plan on riding in the rain, but I'm likely to get caught in the rain... If I get caught in the rain, I'm going to get wet, and there is no preventing that... Unless I had actually planned to ride in the rain. But if I were going to plan to ride in the rain and not get wet doing it, I'd need a whole wardrobe for wet riding, not just a pair of riding boots...

Anyways I still don't have a way to justify an entire wet riding wardrobe to the boss yet... But I ended up buying a pair of riding boots that would keep me the most comfortable for the majority of the riding I do. That ended up being Cortech Latigo Air RR boots.
