Well, it's been nothing less than extremely sucky up here in PA, and for most of the northeast, for that matter. So, while we all wait for another eternity for some warmer weather to hit, why not read up?

Enjoy!

Yea it's cold here in PA but it doesn't bother me much. I was out today shoveling the snow off my driveway in 12 deg f actual. All I had on was jeans,  two fleas sweatshirts, pair of socks and uninsulated boots, hat and gloves. Just keep moving and you'll be ok. I have yet to put on my heavy cold weather clothing. I do wish it would warm up a little. 40 is a treat and I will ride all day when that happens. The thing that sucks is all this winter they have been putting so much salt and cinders down on the road I hate to take my bike out. I just don't want all that salt eating away at the metal. And that illegal loose gravel is everywhere.

Right? Lol. Gravel and I had a clash 2 years ago which, coincidentally, is how I found this forum. I agree, though. Even 40 would be nice. My car hates this weather. That, and actually having the bike on the road will give me the kick in the pants that I need to actually pursue my planned projects.

I hate all that loose cinder shlit they put on the roads here. I live on Mason Dixon line and work in Maryland. In MD they don't use cinder but they treat the roads with brine. That stuff sucks. The roads are white with that sticky junk. When it dries out it blows like dust and you get it in you nose. You can taste the salt up in your sinuses. It dries your nose out and gives you nose bleeds. The blacktop is opening up with potholes everywhere.
