KLR 250

Just test rode a 1986 KLR 250. Miss my 650 a lot. It's in good shape for its age, older guy owns it. New chain and well maintained. The other bike in his garage was a 1960-something BSA 650.

Asking $1300 for it. Seems like a fair deal.

I kind of want a small little dual-sport as well.


By me there's a 1980 KL250 bored .20 over and looking very clean for $1100.

It's got drum brakes front and rear, which I don't like, but he says in the listing he might trade for a 4x4 Jeep or a Bronco/Blazer.

I've got a beat up 2-door Cherokee I've been meaning to get rid of, but my GS is still not running so I wouldn't have transportation if I straight up sold it.  Been considering trading this guy, but I'm really on the fence about it.
