As I was accelerating today after a right turn my engine just died. I was probably going 30 MPH or so at the time.
All electrics worked, but I was not able to start the bike up again.
It is just sort of rolling over but not igniting.

I removed the gas cap just in case no air was getting in, nothing.
I'm currently charging the battery back up on my tender, and will change my spark plugs ( I haven't changed them since I bought it a year ago, guy I bought it from had changed them before I bought it).

Not sure if it matters or not, but today is the first day the temperature has been over 80* in stye past 4 months probably.
I haven't noticed anything off with the bike whatsoever.
I've been reading around and it's possible it could be the coils?

It's a 2007.
Anyone have any ideas?

Are you out of gas?

No, looking in and saying "1/2 full!" means you need to be on reserve.

So did you try prime or reserve?

I get these calls a lot

"Addy - my bike just died on the freeway. What do I do?"
...Got gas?
"Yes, tank is 1/2 full"
...Tried reserve?
"No, why? Tank is half full"
...you need gas. Put on prime a minute then reserve
...
...
...next day
"Hey, you were right. I was low on gas. Put in over 3 gallons today. Thanks man."

Next week - he calls again. Doh!

One of MANY calls on this that I have received.

Man adidas, you're fast!
I'm not full on gas, but I did try priming and putting it into reserve.
Couldn't get it to start with either

So, starter turns the engine?
If so, checked for spark? (Pull a plug and check)
If motor rotates and you have spark, then it would be fuel.
