ive been in love with the sv since i saw it. i remember the one that was so tweakted out on ebay, i sure it was posted about here. but i want a 03 so bad i can taste it, but it will be like a year of two down the road. anyone have any neg. or pos. feedback on the sv? :mrgreen:

I've got a blue '02. Nice bike, fun to ride. Suspension needs a bit a work from stock, but other than that it is a hell of a bargain.

I think my GS500 is pug ugly compared to the SV however, it will stand the rain and snow and crap we are getting here, work well as a winter hack and do it over and over again this year and next as long as i give it some TLC.

However I am not arrogant enough to realise, particularly on this site, that the bike is someone's pride and joy. I treat my SV, the same many of you on here treat your GS. I am just lucky enough and have worked hard enough to be able to run 2 bikes.

We would all be boring if we liked the same thing.

I love my Blue 02 SVS!!

Great all around bike.
Scrap with liter bikes in the twisties.
Sport tour to a couple of states away.
Reliable as they come.
Still pretty upright ergos even with clipons and higher pegs (than standard SV).
