Well had last thursday and friday off work to strip down the rear end and clean up  and resprayed the swing arm ,brake support arm ,chain adjustment plates etc as it had picked up alot of paint flaking and surface rust , now its looking as good as new.

took it for its mot test on saturday and passed only advisory was on a slightly worn chain , so all is well. . .

until today when i went to look at a cbr600 f4i and ended up using the gs as a part exchange, so on saturday i pick the cbr up and leave the gs for the last time.

actually feel quite sad that its goin never in a million years did i ever think id feel remorse for getting rid buy hey ho

I bought the gs 18 months ago after selling my cbr1000 because i had to start commuting to work on my bike
and the cbr was just to good of a bike to use for it , it only ever got used for sunny blasts out and didnt want to ride it through rain , snow and ice etc.

I chose the gs mainly because of this website and forum, it truely is a great forum full of great people from all over the world with excellent knowledge of this machine , ive always felt welcomed and im greatly appreciative of all the help , info and guidence all you guys have given me during my ownership of the bike.

So thank you all  :thumb:
