The Buddha

I am still crying over this. The one thing I realised after my first post was that he was 62, in pics he looked a lot younger. I thought he was in his 40's. In any case, a rear end accident knows no age.
Wishing his family the best.

yeah Buddha you would never believed it.

He worked out too.

I think his real work outs were workin' on his bikes though. He did it relentlessly. I am still catching myself wanting to text him or call him for a question.
Ride with the people you love in mind.

I'll never forget ya Patrick!

:( So sad to hear of senseless accidents taking good people's lives.  Prayers for his family.  RIP Adidasguy.  I've watched a lot of his YouTube 'help' videos.

Condolences to his family and friends.
GSTwins will never be the same without our probably most generous and helpful member.
RIP Patrick.

I watched a bunch of his videos last night, even the crazy gravel Nazi ones. I think I will head to the alley once a week for the rest of the year and do him proud.

I'd read a load of Adidasguy's posts on GStwins before I got my GS and his enthusiasm was one of the things that inspired me to get this bike. All the threads about the Bike Cave and sending people parts etc...

I've worked through some fueling problems on my bike and have read loads of his posts.

He gave me advice on an issue just on Friday which fixed my problem and I was delighted about that.

I then hear this happened on Saturday.

I Goggled his Software company that was mentioned in a link, and I see a picture of him looking well proud with his GS on his company website.

Rest in Peace Patrick.  :icon_sad:

We need to continue his bike cave, we need to continue his legacy. Does anyone know what's going to happen to his bikes/place? We need to do it justice.

Guys, this is bothering me a lot... Anyone knows what happened to his cats? Are they being taken care of?

Been a while since I have been on here.  Got a text from Ver4 breaking the news and wanted to add my condolences.  Never met the man in person but enjoyed his presence here.

Pat lived 20 minutes from my house, but I only went to the Bike Cave 3 times, whenever I talked with him on the phone or txt message or in person, it always seemed like we knew each other forever.......this is beyond phucked up

This is sad. I feel like a hole has been left in the world. He will always be remembered by me. Even though I only know him because of this site I feel like I known him in real life. And because of him, and the part he sent me, I will always ride my GS with pride. He helped make it perfect
Why are you looking here?

Century Ghost, you down to catch the 9:15AM ferry on Saturday?
When in doubt, empty the magazine.

So sorry to read this.

I'm new to the forum, and Adidasguy was one of the 1st two people to reply to my very first post here.  I obviously didn't know or have any experience with him but I was lurking for quite sometime before joining the forum and it's easy to see why he will be so sadly missed here.

It appears that he was an enormous help to just about everyone. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to know him. He sounds like he was a hell of a guy from all of the posts I read.

My thoughts go out to his family.

I will treasure all the messages he sent me here and on Facebook. He was a true Gentleman.
I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

Do we know anything more other than he was hit from behind?

That's all there was too it. Lady around the same age as Pat hit him from behind while he was waiting to turn and the collision snapped his neck. Watching that video that was posted above and looking at that picture Suzuki Stevo posted seriously makes me want to cry man... Seeing Suzi and all the other bikes that were always there and knowing that Patrick will never be able to ride them again because of someones stupid mistake...

If I know Patrick, I know he is in heaven riding a brand new GS500 from Australia with tons of genuine German parts after drinking a brewskee and eating some papa Johns pizza with plenty of butter sauce...

I miss you man.
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.
