Hey everyone,

I've been looking at quite a number of posts (and members rides) to get a few ideas.  I'm looking to upgrade my mirrors and wanted to see what others have used.

I don't care too much for the "bar end" mirrors and would rather have something that would attach to the factory mounting points (1994 500e).

The stock square looking mirrors stick up so darn high, I was hoping to find some Oval perhaps / other shape, that didn't rise quite so high off of the bars.

I don't want anything so "oddly shaped" that they only look cool but don't actually perform like an actual mirror.  I'd like to actually see behind me :D

Any ideas would be great.  Pics would be awesome.  Thanks.

I love the way my bard end mirrors are, so much better than stock any day. You can actually see more than your elbows.

Hey there.

Yeah... I keep going back and forth with the bar end mirrors.  Not my "favorite" BUT as far as function, you can't argue that you do get a pretty good view compared to the stock mirrors.

The only down side to having them is if/when your bike gets tipped over say good bye to them......  >:(

Tell me about it.  My bike has "cheapie" LED rear turn signals (previous owner)  and I do everything I can to stay away from the back of the bike when it's in my garage.  (My garage is 3 cars wide but has 2 center posts so I can't actually get 3 cars in there)...  The place in between the posts, makes a great spot for the bike though.......

.... But even in that spot - I always seem to "bang something" into those darn rear turn signals and break them off!   I can just imagine how many times I'd be bumping into those mirrors!

Ps.  I like that seat on yours.  Looks nice and "grippy".
