Planning out a full LED turn signal swap

So I've done lots of research on here and just on general motorcycle LED swaps. I think I have a solid plan to do it once and only once (hoping for minimum downtime this summer). I figure it's about time to get rid if my giant turn signal stalks and go with some stubby LED's. I don't want to go with integrated blinkers on the tail light since I think they're useless so I'm keeping separate blinker stalks.

Here's my plan:

-generic two-wire 10mm stud stubby LED blinkers off eBay
-four diodes wired in at each blinker to stop current bleed-back to stop the "all blinkers on at once problem" people seem to run into.
-swap in an LED blinker relay from eBay

From my research on here, that should solve all the common LED blinker problems and result in perfectly functioning blinkers right? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything that's going to cause problems.

TIA for anyone who's already gone through an LED swap.

You only need 2 diodes at the dash bulb, as opposed to the 8 you are planning in doing. Be careful which relay you use as many of the led flasher relays don't actually work when you have 4 LEDs. Changing turn signals is a 30 minute job tops so there shouldn't be any down time. I was going to order the flasher from super bright LEDs but I ended up getting shorty incandescent signals so I avoided the hassle.

Good to know about the dash light bulb, that'll save some work for sure.

What happens if the relay isn't made for 4 LED blinkers, it'll just flash quicker?
