DUmbest question ever...its about fuel air screw

So I feel really dumb asking this but what is considered a full turn? 360 or 180 deg. be gentile its hot today

360° is a full turn.

If you use a 1/4" drive screwdriver bit that has 6 sides, count off up to six as you turn it out.

I got the Long Boys and dremeled a flat spot on one side. No bits necessary.

  I hear ya'!  Once I get to 4, 4 and a half,  my brain is shot.  Counting to 6.....?  Not possible...

Thank you every one..oh one more thing as I am about the set my biek ablaze with frustration is 3 turns out good on stock jetting and stock everything else?

I think it's 2.5 turns on a stock bike. But wait for somebody else to chime in, since I don't have a stock intake....or exhaust.....or a GS500.

Factory setting is 2.5 if I recall, and I dont recall much these days ...
We set it to 3.

Up to 6 is on some ocassions - needed, like you have a poorly drilled fuel passage in 1 carb. I've noticed usually in those cases you'd set one far more open than the other.

It will probably fall out if you try to set it to 7 ... You can install one of those closetmaid shelving caps on the thing to keep it in place if it were to fall out ...

thanks buddah. I set both at 3 which appears to be just what it needs. Have not been able to really take it out and test as I needed a new tire. Oh ps motorcycle tire installation is a racket. I was quoted 50 to mount a tire and balance.  I asked how long it would take and they said oh about 10 mins..which means they charge what 300 an hour for work..grrr. Guess I am just going to mount it my self.

Car tire places will mount em. They only cant balance it. Now You dont need it balanced really. Modern tars are very very close if you line up the dot with the fill mouth.

MARider, I mounted my own tires for years using a long curved lip tire iron and a big old screwdriver to take them off and on using liquid dish soap to lubricate beads.  Didn't balance and never had a problem up to 75-80 mph.

Breaking beads is toughest part if you don't have a bead breaker, my 230-240# jumping on them wouldn't budge them.  I had an old Escort sitting around for years that became my bead breaker.  Placed tire/wheel under side of car and put car jack on tire with base close to rim and jacked and pop!

I don't post on carb threads unless they're talking about something important like tires.
