Spark Plug Quick question

Got new plugs
Why won't he new one fit into the plug wire?
I see the difference with the thread on top.
Did I buy the wrong ones?

That smooth cap just unscrews right off. Then it will fit into the plug boot.

I wish plug manufacturers would just put that on the box or package - Don't feel bad, its probably the most common 'issue' with replacing spark plugs.  I see it pop up here often, and a google search provides plenty of people seeking the same answer.  I too had been stumped at one time by this many years ago when replacing plugs on my first moped build - found my answer on a spark plug FAQ for autolite or something, but it was no where on the packaging.

Had same issue first time I plugged my first gs. but as stated that poiece detaches , and youre good to go

Brisk or the other ones he liked were the PowerMadd E3.36 which can be found at O'Reilly Auto Parts in the states.

I'll have to check those out.  I like to keep a few spares on hand for the next tune up.
