Thanks Buddha. I had to remove it by force  :dunno_black:
Yeah $30 is a little much.

I remember that I buggered up my emulsion tubes getting them out the first time I tore into my carbs too.  I ended up just buying new ones.

For future reference, the best way to get the emulsion tube out is to find a long screw with the same threads as the main jet (not sure what thread size they are, I would have to check).  Once you remove the main jet, just thread in the screw to the bottom of the emulsion tube and tap it up and out.

I entirely forgot about these the previous time I went to my stowage.
I'll have to go tomorow. I'll try to remember.

You can also screw them up installing them the wrong way BTW. There is a locator pin that keeps em from spinning in the housing (though I dont see what issue that would cause - but anyway installing it wrong will make the pin tear the emulsion tube - or worse yet, booger the carb body if that pin moves and breaks the housing. You want to be 2 X as careful to get it aligned and really install them by hand, not use a punch and hammer.

Excellent point +1.  You don't want to deform any part of that soft brass, as it will affect fuel flow.  Make sure you get that notch aligned with the pin and just push it in by hand.  If it's just a little tough, then use that long screw again from the bottom and pull it down.

Thanks for the help. I just went ahead and ordered a new one online because I'm impatient haha.
