Installing MX bars on my 89 need help

So I purchased a new top mount from a 1998 which bolted right on and have my bars but my brake and other cable dont reach with out being wicked tight. Anyone know if the newer models that came with handle bars ie anything 90 and up had longer cables?

It's probably unfortunately, put my shorter loop to further permanent installation for fatbar -raiser on my -91.

I am ordering a longer front brake line as after re routing some things that is my only issue. No binding on anyother cables now.
