Switch gear alternatives

What are the alternatives for the bulky (read= ugly) GS switch gear?
Which bikes have sleeker setup and are preferably a straight swap?

Straight swap but different look? .. good luck with that! Lol. . I know my mates '01 gsxr600 and my '06 gstwin straight swap plug wise but exactly same look. .. if you can rewire plugs then a lot switchgear 'might' be useable. .. but I'd probably try and stay Suzuki for closer compatibility?
