I'm also pretty sure it's the battery rebadged as an AGM batt under several other marks. I was under the suspicion that the Bike Master AGM is the same as the Scorpion.

I have this same suspicion, but certainly no way to prove it... I'm sure it is a decent battery for the price - I think I just got a lemon, but didn't want to try my luck twice when I had been on the fence with the motobatt when originally looking for a replacement.

Without pulling it out of the hole, I am 90% sure the 8 year old AGM in my Burgman is a Yuasa.

I replaced my OEM battery in my 2004 VStrom last year.  Figured it was going to go soon.
Stuck that in my lawn mower.  Put the AGM in and it lasted 10 months.
I put one in my GS and that lasted two years.
Went back to the wet batteries on the GS.  The VStrom was replaced under warranty so I'll see how long it lasts.
I use the battery tender on all my bikes.
Did not use the battery tender on on the old OEM VStrom battery that I put in my lawn mower.
Stored outside by the side of the garage in minus 20 degree weather lasted one more year.

I dropped in my bike this weekend and it started right up (thank god) :woohoo:
I was worried something else was wrong...
How often should I charge this?
