Just put new ammo can bags on my 09 GS. I had Atlee signs make decals to match the flaring and they did an outstanding job. The picture was taken on the first ride with them on. We went thru some back roads in the mountains in VA & West VA.  :woohoo:

Looks good man!

Just be careful about the lean angle now. Those cans are probably the new deciding factor of how far you can go. And be extra careful about low siding - I've read plenty of stories of a leg / ankle / foot getting under a hard pannier.

It's opener there in the wide open air...

Sweet cases! How did you mount them?

great work :)

im not a massive fan of bags/holders myself, thats what my ute and car is for but different strokes.

although i am getting tired of taking a backpack around

Cases look like they can hold a ton! Slick mounting! The new color scheme for the cases definitely helps tie it in, otherwise the boxiness would look utilitarian - but this is much better!  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys.
I had a friend follow me thru the mountains of west va this past weekend and he videoed me so we could see how much clearance the bags had in the turns, it looks like I have about 3 or 4 inches before they would hit. I'm not aggressive in the turns anyway being I've only got about 4000 miles under my belt since I got my license a few months ago.
I hadn't thought about my feet hitting them so thanks for the heads up on that one.
The mounts are pretty cool because We made them to attach to the frame without drilling any holes just using the existing holes that the rear pegs used also I have a set of smaller cans that attach to the same mounts (in my profile picture) so I can swap out bag sizes with 2 bolts per bag

Looks great! I've been wanting to mount ammo cans on my '93 E. I'd love to know exactly how you mounted them at the top. I get the idea of using the rear pegs for the bottom, but what did you do to keep it sturdy on top??
