Stickers or Tape as the dealer called them

Hi All

I have been reading posts about stickers for the past hour or so and the most helpful are the ones that are old and their links don't work anymore. So forgive me if Im asking the same old question again, I have just got a 2004 Silver & Black GS500F for my wife. We got a good deal and Im fixing it up for her, part of that is replacing the front fairing (on order) and repainting all the others I have sanded the side faring and back. I got a price from the Australian parts distributor today and they will be about $400.
Any help on getting the stickers at a more affordable price or suggestions regarding other options would greatly appreciated.

I'm partly interested as well if there is an affordable source. Right now I just ride with bare white fairings and am on the fence about putting decals on it.

A member recently mentioned that his son has a decal business on the side and helped him cut some out. He might be interested in making more maybe. Try sending him a PM?

Alex, are you fairings painted the same color as the tank?

If so, I beg you to not ruin that lovely opalescent flake with anything...particularly of a sticker nature.

Some models you can by them seperate some models you have to buy them as a set. My 2006 decals only came as a set which was way too expensive. I ended up finding the set (minus one decal) from a dealership on eBay for $20. Just keep an eye out on those types of sites.

Thanks for the feedback, we have decided to go all black and put white Suzuki stickers on the belly pans. Got the paint code from local dealer and Autobarn made up 3 airsole cans and painting done today. Tomorrow is clear coat, and the new front fairning should be here next week.

Haha yea, I got somewhat lucky because the previous owner got it professionally painted to this metallic pearl white. Still debating about the stickers though, staying bare for the time being!
