There is a good amount of oil dripping out of the left side of my bike. Bike is an 08 with less than 4k miles. Before anyone says anything about chain lube leaking out, no its not that. I pulled the CS sprocket cover earlier and it did not appear to be originating from anything in there. the leak seems to be exactly the same as this one: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=46727.msg524250#msg524250 But like most threads I look at on this forum, there is no real conclusion posted (hasn't anyone heard of a follow up?  :cookoo:)

My question, is there oil on the magneto side of the engines on these bikes? if not where else could the leak be coming from?

ok the oil leak is coming from the upper of the 2 bolts behind the sprocket cover, its either the cover is warped, or the grommet that has the 3 yellow wires is leaking.
