I took my rear tire off because i got a slit in it and between the time that i took it off the bike and brought it in to have it replaced at a shop and brought it home i noticed that the left-hand axle spacer is now missing. See the attached photo of the diagram missing part number 22. I was wondering where i could get this part from if anyone had one i want to go for a long ride next weekend. Let me know thanks.

It looks like i can get everything on ebay but i only need the left hand spacer.

I recommend partzilla

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Suzuki/Motorcycle/1992/GS500ET/REAR+WHEEL/parts.html

There are a couple different websites that have comparable inventories.  On the parts I was looking for partzilla had slightly lower prices on average.  On some things that were in stock I had to wait about an extra week to receive them for some unknown reason.  I'm not sure if other parts websites do that...

Should be a simple replacement, good luck.

Are you looking for the spacer for your 1990 GS500E?  Part #10 on this diagram:

Your post says 85 GS550?

Anyway, I found one on my old garage floor from my 97 or 02 GS last July when I was cleaning it out to move.  It's been laying in the cup holder in the Elantra ever since, if that's the one you need I'll send it if you PM me your address.

I just wanted to say thanks to gs jack for sending me that spacer. Last weekend i went on a 600 mile round trip to the finger lakes in New York, would not have happened without getting that spacer to get my wheel on.
