I was able to stay within the same family as the GS (sorta).

2006 SV650 with 16K miles, GSXR 1000 forks, license plate relocated, and an ugly headlight/blinkers (I will fix that).

I love naked 2nd gen SV.  Had a fully clothed '07 that I was going to covert before I sold it.  Congrats it will be a nice transition from the GS.  Very similar ride - I find the GS smoother while the SV is more beastly.  Took me a while to get used to the low tank on the GS after riding with my nipples resting on the SV tank lol.

There is a guy in england making a triple clamp set that will bolt on to GSXR forks and the SV gauges

Nice bike!  I wouldn't mind an SV650  :thumb:

Thanks for the replies everyone. The GS is still parked in the back yard with the SV for now.  ;)

Thanks for the recommendation, Buddha! I will definitely have to check that out.

I had a silver 2002 "S" model. It's honestly the bike I miss the most.
