96 GS500E For Sale

I'm thinking of selling my bike. It's nothing special, it's a great starter bike or a project bike.
The bike runs and drives great. Never had issues. The issue I had when I bought was the gas tank had rust in the bottom and rusted thru, so I found a dented tank and pounded out the dents. So the current tank doesn't color match. The rest of the bike. The reserve switch also failed so I replaced with a single line, so there isn't a reserve so to speak, just on/off.

I changed out the air box for a kn air filter and changed out the jets of the carbs. The headlight was changed over to HID, a very nice up grade.

I was planning on doing more but just lost interest.

With all the various gas line and gas tank problems the bike is not currently inspected.

If there is any interest I can get some pictures up off the bike.

13300 miles on it.

You might want to include your location, condition of title, age of tires, last service, etc...
Basically anything you'd like to know if you were considering buying this bike.

Not sure how the location just deleted.

It's in Myerstown pa... Near Lebanon pa.

The bike was serviced and Tires new when I bought the bike from a buddy about 4 years ago. The bike was not riden much since it had fuel tank problems. So no recent service. Tires probably have about 2-3k miles. On them seem to be in good shape.

Title is clean.
