choke on carb is stuck!!!

hey guys so my choke slide on my carbs is stuck, it wont move.  Does anyone have any tips on fixing this? anything would help and thanks in advance!!!

Have you removed the cable to confirm that it's the actual slide that's stuck, not the cable?

Try Penetrating oil from the hole in the top.

The slide is also held in place by two screws with (rubber/plastic?) washers. You could try loosening those a bit so the choke slide isn't pressed to stay in the same position.
