So my fuel line busted today.  I was able to cut it and reattach it but feel as though I should go ahead and replace it regardless.  I saw an old thread that said a 5/16" hose will work with clamps and a 1/4" will fit very tight (sometimes can be hard to get on).  I found this and figured I would get everyone's thoughts before I buy it.  Would this http://www.amazon.com/Helix-Racing-Products-Colored-Fuel/dp/B000WK6VMY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422659812&sr=8-1&keywords=helix+racing be a good hose to buy?

doesn't say what material its made of.. idk its sold by power sports, or supplied at least. maybe you can dig for the material..

NAPA and autozone sell greenline, its like 10ish dollars. suppose to be very good, haven't got that to that part my build yet...

I used the motion pro hose, right id , slightly bigger od, a bit expensive but it's wonderful quality.
You think Pyrrhic victory is bad you should try Pyrrhic defeat!

I got 1/4" line. It's extremely frustrating to install. I'd go with something slightly larger and use clamps before using 1/4" again.

I took my original line to a bike shop. .. gave it to the man, he came back 2 mins later with 1m/3' of correct line, cost me $12 Aussie. .. the savings online were not worth the wait of a week or more from elsewhere. . Cheapest I could have got was $8.65 ..  for the extra $3.35 I figured a 20 min drive and instantly in my hands was worth it?!

I'm replacing  both the tank to petcock lines on mine. $35 for genuine. Got a generic fuel line on for the time being, but it doesn't fit well.

I like clear line.  Got some motionpro and after awhile it was hard as ShaZam!  Maybe was the ethanol not sure,...
