So I picked up a 93 gs500 with 10k for dirt ass cheap(guy was having a kid) anyways when I got it the bike was bumpy on accel & crusing, practically felt like it was missing power and I figured carbs. Took it home put exhaust, intake all that jazz on it, took off the carbs and they were clean as could be inside, put bigger jets in it & for 2 days it ran great except for a little bumpy at 4k while crusing. Well after those 2 days I went outside fired her up, hopped on, and half of its power gone, I felt the block and header pipes, left side warm, right side lol too hot to touch. Also gas that mixed with carbon started coming out of the side that's not firing when revving it up a little. So Im figuring misfire/dead cylinder from the bike having its original coil packs. So I pulled one of my spark plugs(bad side) it was black wet and i put it back on the spark plug seat and tried starting the bike(looking for a spark on the spark plug) no spark at all. Coil packs gone bad? Anyone got something that could help me figure it out? Thanks -Skybob
