Front Brake caliper lockup

Hi, Im a carpenter by trade so... I took off my front brake caliper and for some reason I squeezed the brake lever and now the pads are stuck together and I cant even move them at all.  Just wondering if I can get them to move without taking it all apart.  Great site

Crack open the bleed nipple a little and see if you can slide a putty knife in there a little to open the gap up.... then go from there?

Bingo.  I might have thought something else because the rods were so tight.  Got it though.
