Anyone here has experience with Helmet Radios?

I 'm looking at purchassing a set, but I would like to know what kind of features to look for.

Range, price, reliability, can you add more headsets later? etc etc...

any advice is appreciated.

I bought a NADY MC-11.  Tough, works well, but I'm not too happy with the headset provided.... I'll need to get another one sooner or later anyway so that I can use the passenger intercom feature.  It also allows you to pipe music through it into the headset... especially nice in PA where only 'communication device' headsets are allowed

I found mine somewhere online (don't remember right now) for $US 70.  I know I have seen it online many times since for more... so if you decide to get one... don't pay over $US 70!!!

I have a Collett Electronics 900 mhz CelMate. Works great! No complaints at all. My model has been replaced by the Platinum 900. I have stopped using it since I started wear ear plugs and the hump on my leathers gets in the way when I look to the left. Not the cheapest but then you get what you pay for.

Loads available, the only pitfall I have experienced when riding in a small group was having the set in jacket breast pocket and inadvertently opening a channel when ptt button came into contact with the jacket or odds and ends in the pocket. They are normally voice-activated but often have a TX button as well so be careful about the position of the push-to-talk transmit button with regard for your particular riding gear, or style.
This can annoy other users and prevent them using the facility, when you see everyone else tapping the side of their helmet you know somethings wrong. Generally a good piece of kit to have.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

Chatterboxes work great.  I love them. It depends on how much you want to spend.  Mine are $200, 2 channels, voice activation or push-button, 2 mile range.  They go to like 5 miles for $300.  not cheap but they're rechargable and are really cool.  Give me a price or do a search at google or aol/shop.
