Hey GSers! I bought a new bike and need to sell my sweet GS! PM me if you're interested. In the pics it has the ugly purple decals. They have been removed and tank is being repainted GS black. 8k miles.

-Just performed valve check/adjustment (9 assorted shims included)

Not relevant to you topic but did you get them covers machined? Or can I buy them from somewhere?

No problem. Turned it myself. I work as an entry level machinist while working on engineering degree. If you wanted one, if you go to a material sales spot, they usually have odds and ends. It only takes about 20-30 minutes on a lathe.
