Well, my fianceĆ©'s gs500 sold this morning. We bought it last spring for her 1st bike and have made the decision to upgrade her ride to a yamaha fz6r. Im kind of bias with Yamaha,  and own an fz6 which i take on some cross country trips. This year my fiancee wanted to join me on some longer trips and wished for a bike that was a little nicer riding on the highway and smoother all around.

During my stay here i had the pleasure to communicate some with Patrick "Adidasguy" and only wish that I could have known him in real life. He was a certain loss to the motorcyling community.
This was a fun forum to be a part of and will certainly miss it.

So, i guess , farewell. Its been a pleasure. Ill still pop in from time to time as i have some parts to move yet.

Sincerely,

Scott

Happy trails in your new adventures, Scott.

Any man who supports and encourages his better half (read: girl friend, wife, etc.) to ride on her own bike can do no wrong in my book.  And deserves my respect.  :)

You will be back, to post anyway? Whenever I sell a bike I usually stop going to the forum associated with the bike, you wouldn't think that I sold my GS500F 5 years ago, I did...but for some reason I check back here almost daily. Good luck with your adventures
