Hi Guys, just signed up to the forum as I've just got myself a 1991 gs400 in a rather sorry state (pics will follow) with intentions to put her on the track as my first real project.

Slowly did some work on her this weekend stripping it back and fitting a new battery to see where i stood, unfortunately on hooking the battery up it fizzed and blew the wiring! So i had to give dad a call and a new harness is needed.

Will keep you all updated with pics and progress of the wiring issue!

Sorry to hear the project started off that way.
Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on out.
Can't wait to see some pics.
Sounds like a fun project.

Be aware, this is not very wise advise!
