¿Serás capaz de mantener los valores plásticos al instalar el nuevo tenedor ? Siempre he pensado motos deportivas blancas son sexy y hubiera gustado ver que los elimine .

Will you be able to keep the stock plastics when you install the new fork? I've always thought white sport bikes are sexy and would hate to see you remove them.

Me personally, I've always thought the GS looked the best naked, but I really like this one. Great job.  :thumb:

I've done the naked conversion before and went right back to faired after a season! Love the fairings!

Did you grind down the bar holders on the top plate when you installed clip ons? Or were you able to buy that customized from somewhere?

BMW shock?? Damn, I haven't heard of that on a GS. You should tell us how installation was. Was it difficult, did it take much modification?

Slack

It's a Sachs shock. a bit softer then then R6 (8.5 mm/kg vs 9.8 mm/kg) I'd be interested in hearing how much clearance there is and if the hardware is all the same size between the GS and BMW. How much did it raise the rear?

Hi, the installation is the same as the R6R shock. Just a little cut:

The R6R shock (left)is 29cm center to center of the mounting holes, the S1000RR is 31cm (Right).

After the cut:

Before the cut:

I hope you find it useful.
