Well, I got an FZ-07 in February.  I was in no rush to sell my GS, but I found this great young kid who just passed his MSF course, so I sold it to him....may it serve him as well as it served me!

I told him about this awesome forum full of helpful folks.  Thanks guys, this place has been great!

Let us know how the fz-07 is compared to the gs! I'm looking at one but not for a couple years yet. I don't want to sell my GS either! I want to keep it forever!!! Just want to add to the fleet!

Well, the FZ is lighter than the GS, a bit more upright seating position, and has lots more HP and torque.  Mine has been getting about 50 mpg.  The suspension is a bit soft, but manageable to me one I cranked up the rear preload to 8.

It turns nicely, a little better than the GS.  Its a naked bike, and I miss the farings when I'm on the highway.  Overall I've found it to be a remarkable bike.  I'm very happy with it!
