Orange gunk around spark plug

Before last riding my bike 2 days ago I checked the oil level and noticed that it was running low, so before driving to work today I topped it up. During this I noticed this weird orange gunk around my r/h spark plug (pic attached).

It was slightly sticky, looked like caramelised sugar and was quite brittle when snapping pieces off, but had a soft top layer when pushing a screwdriver into it.

Anyone have any idea what this is and would have caused it? Google's suggesting a mix of fuel/water/oil which could have blown out around the spark plug. However, after driving to work I expected to see a leak of sorts around the crush washer, but it was completely clean. The plug's also not loose and I've not lost any power, but I'll take it out and check for fouling this weekend.

Has anyone experienced this before?

What did it smell like?

How long since last oil change?

Looks like Gorilla Glue. Some jackazz probably did it when you parked somewhere just to be a dic. I had some punk kids press gum into my new cars door lock once. Parked at the mall and saw a few kids loitering outside. Went in the mall for 5min and came back....gum in the door lock. Needless to say if the kids had still been there when found it  I'd probably have gone to jail.

It also looks like one of the packing peanuts that dissolve in water. Made of cornstarch of something. They get brown, sticky and melt when hot. Maybe one got wedged in there and melted.

It didn't really have a smell to be honest, but there was no strong petrol smell which I was expecting at first.

Last oil change ~1.5yrs ago, so a bit longer than it should be in there but not too bad. I've only done a few k miles too and it's colour looks okay.

It does look kind of like some expanding foam/glue, but I've only had it parked at work (underground parking) and at home under a cover, so can't imagine anyone vandalising it like that. It's strange that it's on top of some of the cooling fins but didn't completely fill them up too.

Im calling packing peanuts. Take a piece off and put it in water. If it melts you will know.
